Programs: How to Apply

General Application Information
In order to attend a specific workshop, candidates must complete a standard application and must receive the endorsement of their program director/faculty chief of service. Prospective participants should apply following the directions below. Applications are evaluated by a review committee that considers the candidate’s demonstrated interest in cancer research, the commitment expressed in the individual's letter of purpose, and the support of the training director or chief of service.

Stipend
All expenses associated with participation in these workshops are covered by the educational award, including travel to and from home city and meeting site, lodging, meals, and meeting materials.

Eligibility
Applicants must currently be enrolled in an accredited oncology-training program and should have a demonstrated interest in cancer research.

Application Process
A complete application must include:

  1. Current abbreviated CV (not exceeding 3 pages)
  2. Letter of recommendation from Fellowship Program Director or Chief of Service)
  3. A personal statement of purpose (not exceeding 1 page)

All three components must be submitted electronically at the same time to: slisanti@cancereducationconsortium.org. Upon acceptance, candidates will be asked to submit signed copy of letter of recommendation.
